Caribbean beaches
The Caribbean is home to some of the most stunning beaches with fine white sand and warm clear water. Some of these beaches are lined with coconut palms while others are surrounded with cliffs. Visitors to these beaches can sunbathe, play water sports or just enjoy a walk on the coastline.

If you explore Caribbean by walking, you may come across a beach that may not have been discovered. Some of the more popular beaches are always crowded with couples, families and kids running all around. However, there are so many beaches here in these seven thousand islands, that you can find one and claim it for yourself for a couple of hours. However, the locals advise not to venture out by yourself during the high tide. That can be dangerous!

Most popular Caribbean beaches are located in the islands of Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Aruba and Puerto Rico. These are beaches that you will see advertised by travel agencies and also over the Internet. It is hard to find information about the lesser known beaches in these islands. This is, in no way, an indication of the many other beaches that exist on the islands. However, some research can expose the traveler to a whole new world with a lot more exciting places near the coastline.

Caribbean beaches are renowned across the world. However some care needs to be exercised before entering the waters. While swimming on these beaches is usually considered safe, there is a danger of undercurrents which you may not be aware of.
